Hello WEATHERFUN members, and welcome to the April WEATHERFUN Newsletter. Well, as you know spring is here, and so is the severe weather season. Many of you in the South are now starting to experience severe weather. Florida, has already had some very severe thunderstorms along with some tornado warnings. This will continue as the severe weather season sets in. Remember that in this time of this season your fellow WEATHERFUN members are here to offer you some help. If you are in an area of severe weather and need weather up dates please feel free to call upon your fellow WEATHERFUN members for up dates. This worked great last year, and I know it will also work great this year. As I write this newsletter we have already had close to 4 inches of rain in my area and we have a second storm on our doorstep that could give us as much as another 5 inches of rain. This means floods for my area. We are currently under a flood watch for the second time in one week. The next big event will be our Fourth WEATHERFUN Family Reunion to be held in and around the Rhode Island, and S.E. Mass. area. The dates are July 14th to July 17th, with some members coming in a little earlier. Plans are being finalized for weather, and family activities to be held that weekend. Again this year Bill's weather quiz will be a highlight. This alone is well worth the trip northeast. WEATHERFUN Headquarters will be at Quality Motor Inn in Somerset, Mass. A group rate has been provided for WEATHERFUN members. If you need further information please feel free to get back to me privately, and I will be more than happy to send the information your way. We look forward to a great reunion, and great summer weather in the Rhode Island area. Remember folks, this is your newsletter. Please support it as much as possible. Have a great spring, but be sure to keep an eye to the sky, and when severe weather approaches, take cover.
